Pricing Policy

• The price quoted is for each print, excluding mounts and frames, unless specifically stated to the contrary. If you would like to reserve a print and collect it from our Gallery we will be happy to assist you with a wide range of mounts and frames.
• All goods are offered for sale in Pounds Sterling. As a convenience to overseas customers we have shown the UK Sterling price in US Dollars ($) and Euros (€). We calculate currency conversions on a regular basis but cannot be responsible for any exchange rate differences arising between currency values shown on our site and actual charges levied by banks or credit card companies for purchases made.
• All prices exclude VAT. VAT is not charged to or payable on orders taken from and delivered outside the EEC and is automatically removed from orders placed on our system.
• Customs & import duties are not included. The customer is responsible for payment of any surcharges.
• We accept payment by Cash, Cheque (drawn on a major UK bank) in Pounds Sterling (£) and we accept the following credit/debit cards: VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Switch and Solo.
• Prices do not include postage and packing which will be calculated automatically through the ordering process.
  

Ordering

• Simply browse our website by using the navigation buttons above. Click on ‘Artists’ to find an artist name then click on his name to display their full CV and portfolio. Alternatively, click on ‘Categories’ to search by interest i.e. wildlife, landscape etc. If you only require details of recent releases click the ‘New Releases’ button.
• Images throughout our site are enlargeable. To place an order, simply click the ‘Buy Now’ button. Our shopping system will then guide you through the process of creating an account before processing your payment securely.
• Creating an account with us will make repeat visits to the website easy for you without repeatedly typing in the same information time and time again.
• If you have an account already set up, just enter your user name and password
• You will then be taken to a screen to enter your Credit Card details onto a secure server.
• Press the ‘Submit’ button to confirm the order. You will shortly receive an e-mail confirming your order.
  

Delivery Policy

• All confirmed orders will be despatched via courier within 2 working days.
• If any delay occurs you will be notified immediately. You will be given the option to arrange a convenient delivery date or to cancel the order with a full refund.
• Please advice us if you do not receive your item(s) within 7 days of placing your order so that we can trace the parcel.
• Please note that all delivery charges are shown on your order form.
  

Returns Policy

• All orders are carefully checked before despatch. Occasionally, items are damaged, defective or unacceptable and we will make every effort to rectify the situation.
• We will do our best to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your purchase.
• If the goods are damaged in-transit or faulty, please notify us within 3 days of receiving them. Keep all the packaging material; we will arrange to have the item returned at our expense. You will be given the option to have the product replaced at no charge to you on a convenient date or to have a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
• Goods that are not acceptable for any other reason may be returned within 3 days for a refund but you must contact us first for authorisation. Goods returned which are not defective or faulty will be subject to a 20% re-stocking charge. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  

Privacy Policy

• We are committed to protecting your privacy.
• We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully – in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
• The information we collect is to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service.
• You will have the chance to refuse marketing e-mail from us.
• None of the information supplied by you will be provided to anyone outside of the Portman Gallery.
• We may use technology to track patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a ‘cookie’ which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening.

Law & Jurisdiction

The contract shall be deemed to be made in England. All Contracts made between Portman Gallery and the Customer shall be governed by the laws of England and any dispute arising therein shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the English courts.
